The UN Resident & Humanitarian Coordinator, Mr. Mohammed Fall, as part of its sustainability measures under the concluded UN peacebuilding fund project (UNPBF) – “Strengthening Local and State Level Peace Architectures for Peacebuilding and Prevention in Katsina and Kaduna States of Northwest Nigeria, jointly implemented by OHCHR, UNDP, IOM and UN Women in collaboration with the NHRC, Government of Kaduna and Katsina states and various local stakeholders donates working tools to the NHRC to enhance its human rights monitoring capacities.
Executive Secretary of the Commission Dr Tony Ojukwu OFR SAN said the working tools will greatly improve the work of the Commission in the area of Peace Building in Kaduna and Katsina State.
